The Uludağ Economy Summit, Turkey’s foremost financial gathering, took the pulse of the business world on March 25 and 26. Organized for the fifth time by the Capital and Ekonomist magazines, the Uludağ Economy Summit hosted outstanding speakers and business people from Turkey and around the world at the Grand Yazıcı Hotel.
High-profile national and international speakers attended the Uludağ Economy Summit. Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek was also a participant.
In various sessions, Turkey’s leading business people discussed competitive advantages for industrialists in terms of 2023 targets and industry 4.0 issues. Distinguished business personalities discussed the accomplishments of global Turkish brands and the country’s status in growth and infrastructure investments. The sessions were live streamed online.
Summit speakers included Navi Radjou, innovation and leadership consultant from Silicon Valley; Shiza Shahid, founder and CEO of the Malala Fund; Fredrik Reinfeldt, former Prime Minister of Sweden; Esko Aho, former Prime Minister of Finland; Yannos Papantoniou, Greek Minister of Economy and Finance; TUSIAD president Cansen Başaran Symes; TOBB president Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu; KAGIDER president Sanem Oktar; TIKAD president Nilüfer Bulut; and Turkish Federation of Shopping Centers and Retailers (TAMPF) president Zafer Kurşun.
